Because I couldn’t post…

In the hour of free time I had today, I fixed up my Start menu to not have so many folders for each and every file… I only added category folders to sort the other folders, but it was productive.

Writers’ Strike

… Or writer strike. Either way, I’m declaring today a no-writing day. Since I’ve been working hard with the blog and school lately, I have a bit of homework, and it’s already 7:30, I’m going to call it a day.

Hope that’s ok with everyone.

So, school started…

 I’ll give a moment of silence to my soon to be dead tired self… Thank you.

Really though, school + soccer + blog + etc = tired. It’s pretty simple.  Even with all of it, I plan to keep posting relatively often. I said three reviews a week, and I think it’ll be easy to keep up with.

Here’s to a good junior year.

Google Chrome

Yeah, I downloaded it. I have to say, it’s really fast. It boots fast, it loads fast… it’s fast. Part of its speed comes from a lack of just about everything, though. Since it’s only been out for a day, there’s nothing but a browser. Nothing. It has bookmarks, favorites, and such, but no plug-ins, etc… yet.

Anyway, expect a review of it when some more stuff comes in. Consider this my teaser.

I really like the speed. It’s almost enough to make me stop using Firefox already. Hopefully it keeps up even when I’m using plugins, because I can’t stand not having mouse guestures.

… Some web sites don’t accept it as a browser yet… that’s a warning. My email and Meebo were having troubles with it.

BlogCritics

Ever heard of them? It’s sort of a social network, but it’s made to help people find my site.

I post there, and people who visit see my articles, then they click through on a link and find even more here. It’s good.

The only problem is that I have to post there first, wait for an editor to approve it, and then post here. That means you don’t get a review ’til tomorrow or later… Sorry.

Yeah, I’m that excited. I finished the essay like I wanted to, and it’s not even late like I thought it would be.

My stats say that everybody wants a review or three… Well, I’ll see what I can do tomorrow.

Thought I’d let anybody who’s reading know: I’m almost finished with my The Good Earth essay. I’m going to be gone tomorrow, but I’ll probably finish it Sunday… that means I might have a review out on Monday!

A New Feed

See, the people at Giveaway of the Day somehow get software that you would normally have to buy, and then they give it away free… You have to be quick, though. They only offer it for one day!

If you go to their site and scroll down a bit… There’s Edraw Max. It’s just my luck to discover them a few days after I write about Edraw.

Anyway, if they put something up that I like, I’ll review it… and if you’re quick enough, you’ll get a nice piece of software for free!

Yeah. I have games tomorrow and the day after, and I still need to finish my essay, so I won’t promise any new reviews for a bit.

I have the weekend, but I’d rather have it done before then.
